Description: Log Daemon Status

What is svnLogDStat?

This DisplayString reports the status of the log daemon on the gateway, per 'Log Daemon Status.' Since this is the process responsible for writing and forwarding security logs, a status other than healthy/running here would explain a scenario where the gateway is passing traffic normally but no new logs are appearing in SmartConsole or a log server. An admin noticing a sudden gap in a gateway's log stream would check this field first before assuming the gateway itself is down.
