What is raidVolumeIndex?
This Unsigned32 is the index identifying a specific RAID volume in a table of RAID volume statistics, needed on appliances configured with hardware RAID for disk redundancy. It ties the following VolumeID/Type/Size fields to a specific logical RAID array, which matters on appliances with multiple RAID volumes (e.g., separate OS and log storage arrays) that need to be tracked independently. An admin responding to a RAID alert would use this index to identify exactly which logical volume, among possibly several, is affected.
