What is raidDiskVolumeID?
This INTEGER identifies which RAID volume this physical disk belongs to, per 'Raid volume identification,' linking a row in the disk table back to a row in the volume table via matching ID. On an appliance with multiple RAID volumes, this field is what tells an admin which array a given physical disk (identified by raidDiskIndex) is actually a member of before pulling it for replacement. Confirming this value matches the affected volume's raidVolumeID before physically removing a disk prevents accidentally pulling a disk from the wrong array.
