What is msSpamControlsSPF?
This counts spam emails caught because the sender failed an SPF (Sender Policy Framework) check, meaning the sending server wasn't authorized to send mail for the claimed domain. A spike here frequently indicates someone is spoofing the organization's own domain in phishing attempts, which is a distinct and more urgent finding than generic third-party spam. For example, 120 messages in a day might fail SPF while impersonating the company's own domain in the From header.
