What is haIP?

This IpAddress is the IP address configured on the monitored interface identified by haIfIndex/haIfName. It's what ties the abstract interface entry to a real, checkable network address, letting an admin ping or trace that specific address when investigating why ClusterXL reported that interface as degraded. Comparing this recorded IP against what's actually configured on the box would reveal a stale SNMP cache if the two no longer match after a network redesign.
