This reports the number of seconds since the last message passed through this Exchange agent. A large value on a mail server that normally handles messages every few seconds is a much stronger 'mail flow has actually stopped' signal than exchangeAgentStatus alone, since the agent process can still report 'Running' while message flow has died. For example, a value of 3600 seconds on a normally busy server would indicate an hour with no mail, worth investigating immediately.
