This reports whether a specific log-reading job is currently active and online. An admin uses this alongside the job state field as a quicker boolean check across many jobs at once when scanning for which of several dozen jobs on a busy Correlation Unit have gone offline, before drilling into the more detailed state and description fields for just the affected ones. For example, scanning this field across 20 jobs and finding just one reading offline would immediately narrow a triage effort to that single job.
