What is egpAs?
The autonomous system number of this local EGP entity itself, as opposed to egpNeighAs which is the peer's AS. This identifies which AS number the gateway itself would present in any legacy EGP peering, relevant only in the unlikely case such peering is still configured on a Check Point device today. Example: confirming egpAs matches the AS number documented for this site is a basic sanity check if legacy EGP configuration is ever found active during an audit.
