atiQosProfilePriority

Module: CENTRECOM-QOS-MIB

OID (symbolic): CENTRECOM-QOS-MIB::atiQosProfilePriority

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.207.8.12.2.5.1.6.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The level of priority in which this queue will be serviced by the Switch.

What is atiQosProfilePriority?

This integer selects one of four service priorities (low, normal, medium, high) that determines how eagerly the switch's scheduler drains packets sitting in this particular QoS queue relative to other queues. Setting it to high tells the switch to service this queue ahead of lower-priority queues whenever there's contention on a port, which matters on a congested link carrying a mix of voice and bulk-transfer traffic. For example, an admin might set this to high(4) for a profile carrying VoIP RTP streams so those packets aren't held behind large FTP transfers queued at normal(2).

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CENTRECOM-QOS-MIB::atiQosProfilePriority

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.207.8.12.2.5.1.6.1.5.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CENTRECOM-QOS-MIB::atiQosProfilePriority.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.207.8.12.2.5.1.6.1.5.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> atiQosProfilePriority.1
