Module: CENTILLION-SYSTEM-EVENT-LOG-MIB
OID (symbolic): CENTILLION-SYSTEM-EVENT-LOG-MIB::sysEvtLogDestMap
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.930.2.1.5.6
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: This value is a bit map of each destination that Event Log can forward messages to, where bit 0 for console CLI bit 1 for Syslogd bit 2 for Tftpsave The value of other bits has no effect. A bit value of 1 means the destination is enabled. Otherwise, disabled. Note: Enabling Syslogd prior setting sysEvtLogSysLogHostIp will return BADVALUE for set. Enabling Tftpsave prior setting sysEvtLogTftpsaveHostIp will return BADVALUE for set.
What is sysEvtLogDestMap?
This is a bitmap integer where bit 0 controls whether event log messages go to the console CLI, bit 1 controls forwarding to Syslogd, and bit 2 controls forwarding to Tftpsave, with a 1 bit enabling that destination; setting the Syslogd or Tftpsave bit before their respective host IP objects are configured will fail with a BADVALUE error. An admin uses this to choose which of up to three destinations receive event log output simultaneously, and must configure the corresponding host IP objects first before enabling those bits. For example, enabling both the console and Syslogd bits (values 1 and 2 combined) would send every logged event to both the local CLI session and a remote syslog server at once.
