cardAssemblyClass

Module: CARD-MIB

OID (symbolic): CARD-MIB::cardAssemblyClass

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5812.2.3.1.8

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Identifies the hardware class. This field is a duplicate of the assembly class portion of the assembly number. It is stored and displayed in Binary Encoded Decimal (BCD) format. The following list provide some of the Assembly Class and its description:

What is cardAssemblyClass?

This read-only value identifies the hardware assembly class, stored in Binary Coded Decimal, duplicating the class portion of the module's assembly number -- for example, 50 for PCB Assemblies or 84 for Operational Software. It classifies what kind of physical or logical component this assembly record describes, per the vendor's internal parts taxonomy.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5812.2.3.1.8
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CARD-MIB::cardAssemblyClass

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5812.2.3.1.8.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CARD-MIB::cardAssemblyClass.1
