Description: In a 1+1 Hot Standby configuration, the Protection Switch Cause attribute reports the reason for the last protection switch.
What is protectionSwitchCause?
In a 1+1 Hot Standby configuration, this reports the reason for the most recent protection switch, such as the neighbor CMU not responding, an RFU synthesizer out of lock, a cable failure, a data or management port going down, an error ratio exceeding threshold, or a managed (manual) switch. Admins use it to diagnose why a failover occurred.
