This IpAddress holds a Windows NetBIOS name server (WINS) address negotiated during IPCP, enabling Windows hostname resolution. Example: 192.168.1.10 as wins1 allows Windows clients to discover Windows file servers and printers by NetBIOS name instead of IP address.
