Description: Gear down persistence interval for decreasing current bandwidth. The measured throughput (in percent of the total bandwidth) of this interface (see pppExtIfLoad) is compared with the current value of pppExtIfGearDownThreshold once per second. If exceeded longer than pppExtIfGearDownPersistance seconds, exactly one B-channel will be dropped.
What is pppExtIfGearDownPersistance?
This read-write object sets, in seconds (0-100), how long throughput must stay below pppExtIfGearDownThreshold before a B-channel is actually dropped, avoiding channel removals from brief traffic dips.
