Description: The time in seconds to wait, once the channel is silent, (that is, no data is being received or transmitted) before terminating the link. When set to zero the short hold mode is disabled, when set to -1 the short hold mode is disabled and the link will be reconnected when connection was lost.
What is biboPPPShortHold?
The time in seconds to wait, once the channel is silent, (that is, no data is being received or transmitted) before terminating the link. Setting biboPPPShortHold to 120 seconds means idle connections auto-disconnect after 2 minutes of no data, reducing unnecessary charges on time-based billing. For example, 300 represents 5 minutes.
