Description: When set to on(1), keepalive packets are sent in regular intervals during the connection. Keepalive packets can not be sent using the ip-lapb or x25 encapsulation.
What is biboPPPKeepalive?
When set to on(1), keepalive packets are sent in regular intervals during the connection. Keepalive packets can not be sent using the ip-lapb or x25 encapsulation. When biboPPPKeepalive is on(1), periodic echo packets verify the remote end is responding, auto-disconnecting if the link becomes unresponsive. For example, typical values range from 1 to 10 depending on configuration.
