What is ipsecTrProposal?
This object specifies an index in the ipsecProposalTable. This may be the first proposal of possibly a choice of multiple, optionally nested proposals which is to be offered with IKE (automatic keying) or a manual proposal (manual keying). The ipsecTrProposal links to the first proposal in a chain of encryption and authentication options offered during negotiation. For example, setting NextIndex to 5 chains this entry to proposal 5, forming a fallback list tried sequentially.
