Description: This object specifies the protocol, the session is using. The value icmp specifies an icmp-echo (ping) session. ICMP error messages are processed by the appropriate tcp or udp session.

What is ipNatProtocol?

This read-only field shows which IP protocol a NAT session is using. Values include ICMP (1), TCP (6), UDP (17), GRE (47), ESP (50). A NAT session with ipNatProtocol = 6 is a TCP session; one with ipNatProtocol = 1 represents an ICMP ping.
