Description: Specifies the time in seconds the interface-specific shorthold interval (see biboPPPTable) is extended if the rule's associated filter matches. When set to zero this setting is ignored. When set to -1 matching packets are sent piggyback, they are not considered for shorthold mode.
What is ipBodRuleIdleTime?
This OID extends the idle timeout (in seconds) for ISDN connections when this rule's filter matches; -1 disables shorthold mode. It prevents dial-on-demand channels from disconnecting during important traffic flows. Example: setting to 60 keeps the ISDN connection active for 60 seconds after matching traffic stops flowing.
