pabxTrunkPrefixPrependOnIncoming

Module: BIANCA-BOX-PABX-MIB

OID (symbolic): BIANCA-BOX-PABX-MIB::pabxTrunkPrefixPrependOnIncoming

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.272.4.20.3.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This object specifies handling of trunk-prefix on incoming calls: When set to enable (by default) the trunk prefix will be appended to the calling party number on incoming calls, what must be set for external trunks (otherwise a wrong calling party number would be provided, hence leading to the calling party number being unusable for a call back). When set to disable, no prefix will be prepended to the calling party number, nedded for a distributed PABX via internal trunks.

What is pabxTrunkPrefixPrependOnIncoming?

This object specifies handling of trunk-prefix on incoming calls: When set to enable (by default) the trunk prefix will be appended to the calling party number on incoming calls, what must. Enabling prefix prepending ensures incoming calls show the correct caller ID by including the trunk prefix. An external caller showing 555-1234 with prefix +1-212 displays as +1-212-555-1234.
