Description: The originating BGP4 speaker's degree of preference for an advertised route. A value of -1 indicates the absence of this attribute.

Known Issues: o The BGP-4 specification uses an unsigned 32 bit number and thus this object cannot represent the full range of the protocol.

What is bgp4PathAttrLocalPref?

This Integer32 (-1 to 2147483647) specifies the local preference (route selection priority within the AS), with -1 indicating absence. Higher values are preferred. Example: a localPref of 200 is preferred over 100; -1 means the attribute is absent.
