What is xmlRegistryIndex?

This object provides a unique table index for XML registry entries, enabling SNMP enumeration. Monitoring systems use this to distinguish registry entries. Example: an index of 0, 1, 2 identifies first, second, and third registry entries.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.140.625.800.1.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> BEA-WEBLOGIC-MIB::xmlRegistryIndex

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.140.625.800.1.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> BEA-WEBLOGIC-MIB::xmlRegistryIndex.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> xmlRegistryIndex.1
