Module: BEA-WEBLOGIC-MIB

OID (symbolic): BEA-WEBLOGIC-MIB::webserviceCredentialProviderTokenType

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.140.625.1170.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Description: Specifies the type of token used for the particular credential provider or token handler. WebLogic Server supports, by default, three types of tokens: X.509, UsernameToken, and SAML, as specified by the following WS-Security specifications: Web Services Security: Username Token Profile Web Services Security: X.509 Token Profile Web Services Security: SAML Token Profile To specify one of these out-of-the-box types, use these values respectively: 'ut', 'x509', or 'saml'.

What is webserviceCredentialProviderTokenType?

This OID specifies which security token format the credential provider generates or accepts, such as X.509 certificates, UsernameToken, or SAML assertions. It determines the encryption and assertion standards applied during credential exchange. Example: a token type value of 'saml' means the provider issues SAML token assertions that carry identity and authorization claims.
