safAgentBytesThresholdHigh

Module: BEA-WEBLOGIC-MIB

OID (symbolic): BEA-WEBLOGIC-MIB::safAgentBytesThresholdHigh

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.140.625.1035.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Counter64

Access: read-only

Description: The upper threshold value that triggers events based on the number of bytes stored in the SAF agent. The default value of -1 disables the events for this SAF agent. Applies only to agents with sending capability. Updating BytesThresholdHigh affects only new requests. If the number of bytes exceeds this threshold, the triggered events are: Log Messages: A message is logged on the server indicating a high threshold condition. Flow Control: The agent becomes armed and instructs producers to begin decreasing their message flow. Range of Values: <= BytesMaximum; >= BytesThresholdLow

What is safAgentBytesThresholdHigh?

This OID sets the byte-count threshold that triggers flow-control events. When buffered message bytes exceed this, the agent signals backpressure and logs warnings. Example: setting to 1GB means once messages consume over 1 gigabyte of buffer, flow control engages to prevent memory exhaustion.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.140.625.1035.1.7
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> BEA-WEBLOGIC-MIB::safAgentBytesThresholdHigh

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.140.625.1035.1.7.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> BEA-WEBLOGIC-MIB::safAgentBytesThresholdHigh.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> safAgentBytesThresholdHigh.1
