Description: Specifies the initial operating state of a targetted messaging bridge instance. If enabled, the messaging bridge instance forwards messages (running). If not enabled, the messaging bridge instance does not forward messages (temporarily stopped). After a messaging bridge has started forwarding messages (running), use Started to temporarily suspend an active messaging bridge instance or restart an stopped messaging bridge instance. Select the Started checkbox to start a messaging bridge instance that has been temporarily stopped. Clear the Started checkbox to temporarily stop a messaging bridge instance that was running. This value does not indicate the run-time state of a messaging bridge instance.

What is messagingBridgeStarted?

This flag indicates whether the messaging bridge instance is currently running and forwarding messages. Operations teams use this to monitor bridge operational state and trigger alerts if it unexpectedly stops. Example: a value of 1 means the bridge is running; 0 means it's stopped and not forwarding messages.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.140.625.786.1.109
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> BEA-WEBLOGIC-MIB::messagingBridgeStarted

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.140.625.786.1.109.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> BEA-WEBLOGIC-MIB::messagingBridgeStarted.1
