Description: The number of seconds between link-state ad- vertisement retransmissions, for adjacencies belonging to this interface. This value is also used when retransmitting database descrip- tion and link-state request packets. This value should be well over the expected round- trip time.

What is basOspfVirtIfRetransInterval?

This read-create value is the number of seconds between link-state advertisement retransmissions on this virtual link when acknowledgments aren't received; because virtual links traverse another area they should be set comfortably above the expected round-trip time. It defaults to 5 seconds.
