Description: This object determines the ESP encapsulation mode that will be used. Possible values are 'tunnel' and 'transport'. In case transport mode is configured, it shall be used only if possible, i.e. the SIP and DIP of the relevant rule are equivalent to the LTEP and RTEP. Otherwise tunnel mode is used.
What is avipsTranSetEncapMode?
This read-write value picks ESP encapsulation mode, tunnel or transport, defaulting to tunnel. Transport mode is only actually used when possible (i.e. when the security and destination IPs equal the local/remote tunnel endpoints); otherwise the device falls back to tunnel mode.
