Description: A count of Signal Failure conditions that have been detected on the incoming signal. This condition occurs when a loss of signal, loss of frame, AIS-L or a Line bit error rate exceeding the currently configured value of the relevant instance of apsConfigSfBerThreshold.
Discontinuities in the value of this counter can occur at re-initialization of the management system, and at other times as indicated by the value of apsChanStatusDiscontinuityTime.
What is apsChanStatusSignalFailures?
Counts the number of Signal Failure conditions detected on the incoming APS channel signal, which occur due to loss of signal, loss of frame, AIS-L, or a line bit error rate exceeding the configured failure threshold. Tracking this counter reveals how frequently hard failures have affected the channel.
