ahcfInstanceRisingThreshold

Module: AHCF-MIB

OID (symbolic): AHCF-MIB::ahcfInstanceRisingThreshold

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.7777.1.2.1.12

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: A threshold for the sampled variable.

When the current sampled value is greater than or equal to this threshold, and the value at the last sampling interval was less than this threshold, and the value of ahcfInstanceThresholdType is 'risingAlarm' or 'risingOrFallingAlarm', a single notification will be generated.

After a notification is generated, another such notification will not be generated until the sampled value falls below this threshold and reaches the ahcfInstanceFallingThreshold.

That is, the hysterisis mechanism is used to limit the generation of events. This mechanism generates one event as a threshold is crossed in the appropriate direction.

No more events are generated for that threshold until the opposite threshold is crossed.

What is ahcfInstanceRisingThreshold?

This is the high threshold value that triggers an alarm. Set to 80 to alarm when the value reaches 80%. Only triggers when crossing upward from below.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.7777.1.2.1.12
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> AHCF-MIB::ahcfInstanceRisingThreshold

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.7777.1.2.1.12.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> AHCF-MIB::ahcfInstanceRisingThreshold.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.7777.1.2.1.12.1 i <value>
