Description:
Community String which is sent with an SNMP Trap to the Management Station. If no community is specified, the default (public) is used.
What is neTrapsinkCommunity?
This object stores the SNMP community string that will be included in SNMP trap messages sent to a management station. The community string acts as a password for SNMP authentication and defaults to 'public' if not specified. An operator configures this to ensure traps can be properly authenticated when the network device sends alarm or event notifications to the management station.
