Description:
Scalar indicate MIB from which will be taken OID of entity to trap when entity is supported by more than one MIB.
What is trapModeLegacy?
This object determines which MIB should provide the trap OID when an entity is supported by multiple MIBs. It is a configuration setting that controls whether traps for multi-supported entities reference the legacy MIB definitions or newer ones. An operator would set this value to maintain compatibility with SNMP management systems expecting trap definitions from a specific MIB version.
