What is transientProtSwToDuplexFail?
This notification is generated when an ADVA optical system fails to successfully switch control to its redundant partner controller during a failover event, leaving the system without a standby. This is a critical condition in a duplex (redundant) system architecture. Network operators immediately investigate this alarm to determine why failover failed and restore high availability before a total system failure occurs.
