What is transientFarEndDyingGasp?
This notification fires when a Dying Gasp signal is received from the far end of an optical circuit, indicating that the remote equipment is about to lose power. Dying Gasp is a signal transmitted by optical equipment during power loss to notify the peer of the imminent shutdown, allowing graceful connection teardown. Operators receive this alert to understand power events on the remote end and to trigger any necessary failover or recovery procedures.
