Boot up failed

What is transientBootUpFailed?

This notification alert signals that the equipment boot-up process has failed to complete successfully. The ADVA FSP R7 device sends this trap when it cannot properly initialize during power-up or restart. A network operator would investigate this alert to troubleshoot startup issues or determine if the device requires service or firmware recovery.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' ADVA-FSPR7-MIB::transientBootUpFailed
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.11.7.5.0.415

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
