What is scGatewayProxyArp?
This object controls whether the gateway device responds to ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) requests on behalf of other devices connected to it. When enabled, the gateway answers ARP queries for IP addresses it knows about, reducing broadcast traffic. An operator enables this to reduce ARP broadcast storms or to simplify network topology by having the gateway proxy responses.
