What is opticalMuxForceFwdAsePilotOn?
This object controls whether the backward Raman amplifier pilot signal is forced on to help the system measure and build its forward Raman amplification table. The Raman pilot is a low-power optical signal used for system testing and calibration. Optical network operators use this to enable diagnostic measurement of forward Raman amplification characteristics in long-haul fiber systems.
