Description:
Operational parameter for invoking a connection test procedure. If set to ntpTest(2) then a connection with remote NTP server is being checked. Result of this operation is saved under ntpServerTestStatus column. When operation finish then value is automaticaly set to rls(1). It cannot be set to rls(1) by hand
What is ntpIPv4Test?
Reports an integer enumeration that triggers on-demand NTP server connectivity validation (rls=1 or ntpTest=2). Network administrators use this to verify NTP reachability without waiting for scheduled synchronization attempts, enabling rapid troubleshooting. Example value: 2 (initiates connectivity test).
