What is fspR7WriteAccessRequest?

This object is an event notification (trap) that signals when a device or software component requests permission to modify configuration or data on an ADVA FSP R7 system. It marks the start of a potential write access flow where authorization must be granted or denied. System operators and administrators use this notification to track and audit access control events, ensuring that configuration changes are properly requested and monitored.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' ADVA-FSPR7-MIB::fspR7WriteAccessRequest
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.11.7.5.0.10010

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
