Description:
Indicates the traffic path for path protection cases when the FFP does not exist. When the FFP exists, protected is indicated and the status is determined by the FFP.
What is crossConnectionPathProtection?
This OID indicates which traffic path is active when a backup route exists for a connection due to path protection. It shows whether the primary or backup path is currently carrying traffic. An operator would monitor this during network failovers to confirm that backup paths activated correctly when the primary failed.
