Module: ADVA-FSPR7-MIB
OID (symbolic): ADVA-FSPR7-MIB::alarmSwitchFailed
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.11.7.5.0.274

Description:
Failure to Respond to Switch/Bridge Request within 50 ms
What is alarmSwitchFailed?
This notification alerts the operator when the system fails to respond to a switching or bridge request within 50 milliseconds. A delayed switch response indicates potential hardware issues or system overload that could impact failover capability. An operator investigating this alarm would check system resources and verify that redundant path switching is functioning properly.
Examples
Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' ADVA-FSPR7-MIB::alarmSwitchFailed snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.11.7.5.0.274
Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):
snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
