Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE

Description:

Non-Specific Mismatch. Equipment Not Match Provisioned Hardware

What is alarmMismatch?

This alarm notification indicates that the installed hardware does not match the provisioned or expected configuration in the system. When triggered, it alerts operators that there is a mismatch between what the equipment is physically configured to support and what the management plane expects. Resolution requires either updating the software provisioning to match actual hardware, or replacing the hardware to match the provisioning.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' ADVA-FSPR7-MIB::alarmMismatch
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.11.7.5.0.203

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public

Example snmptrapd log entry:
