What is alarmLocalOscTemperatureTooLow?
A notification triggered when the local oscillator (used in coherent optical reception) temperature drops below safe operating range. This signals a hardware condition that degrades receiver performance. An operator receives this alarm and may take corrective action like checking cooling systems to prevent data loss on optical circuits.
