Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE

Description:

TCA -Round trip delay Too Low

What is alarmLatencyTooLow?

This alarm trap is generated when the measured round-trip propagation delay falls below a configured threshold, indicating unusually fast signal travel. The low latency may signal a routing issue or fiber cut/splice affecting the optical path. An operator would investigate this alarm to ensure the data path integrity and verify that traffic is taking expected routes through the optical network.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' ADVA-FSPR7-MIB::alarmLatencyTooLow
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.11.7.5.0.330

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
