Module: ADVA-FSPR7-MIB
OID (symbolic): ADVA-FSPR7-MIB::alarmLatencyTooHigh
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.11.7.5.0.329
Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE
Description:
TCA -Round Trip Delay Too High
What is alarmLatencyTooHigh?
Is a trap notification fired when measured round-trip delay (latency) exceeds a configured threshold. This alert warns operators of potential packet forwarding delays on the link. An operator receives this alarm when latency spikes during congestion and uses it to trigger rerouting decisions.
Examples
Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' ADVA-FSPR7-MIB::alarmLatencyTooHigh snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.11.7.5.0.329
Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):
snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
