What is alarmAutoShutdownAmpAps?
This OID is a notification event triggered when the fiber optic amplifier automatically shuts down due to loss of incoming signal (while using AMP-APS protection). It alerts administrators that an amplifier has disabled itself to prevent damage or signal corruption. A network operator would receive this alarm when optical fiber is cut or broken, prompting them to investigate and repair the damaged fiber.
