virtualUNIVpiSig

Module: ACMIB

OID (symbolic): ACMIB::virtualUNIVpiSig

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.19.1.28

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: VPI value for the signalling channel for the UNI interface.

What is virtualUNIVpiSig?

This OID configures the Virtual Path Identifier (VPI) value for the ATM signaling channel, which is one part of the address that identifies where control traffic flows on this virtual interface. Network engineers must set this to match the allocation from their carrier or to separate signaling traffic from data traffic on shared ATM links. For example, VPI 0 is commonly used for signaling, so you might set this to 0 to use the standard signaling path.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.19.1.28
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::virtualUNIVpiSig

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.19.1.28.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::virtualUNIVpiSig.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.19.1.28.1 i <value>
