virtualIntfConfigCellRate

Module: ACMIB

OID (symbolic): ACMIB::virtualIntfConfigCellRate

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.18.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: Bandwidth assigned for the VI. The unit is cells per sec. Total Bandwidth of all VI's cannot exceed bandwidth of the main interface. CAC will be supported per VI.

What is virtualIntfConfigCellRate?

Specifies the cell rate (bandwidth in cells per second) allocated to a virtual interface, with the constraint that all VIs share the main physical port's total capacity. Engineers use this to partition a single ATM port among multiple virtual interfaces, each with its own guaranteed throughput and connection admission control. A value of 50000 assigns 50,000 cells per second to this VI; if the main port has 200,000 cells/sec capacity, up to 4 VIs could be created.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.18.1.3
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::virtualIntfConfigCellRate

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.18.1.3.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::virtualIntfConfigCellRate.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.5.18.1.3.1 i <value>
