What is viprVpnStatsIcmpOutTimeXs?
This OID tracks ICMP Time Exceeded messages sent by the device when a packet's TTL (hop count) reaches zero before reaching its destination. Network engineers investigate this counter when troubleshooting routing loops, excessively long paths, or traceroute operations. For example, a value of 12 means 12 packets died in transit and generated time-exceeded errors.
