What is viprSubChnlTosMask?

This OID stores the bit mask (0-255) that is applied to the IP packet's TOS field before comparing it against viprSubChnlTosValue. Network engineers use this mask to selectively match certain bits of the TOS field, allowing granular traffic classification for subchannel routing. For example, a mask of 240 (binary 11110000) would check only the first 4 bits of the TOS field, ignoring the lower 4 bits.
