viprSubChnlFrameSize

Module: ACMIB

OID (symbolic): ACMIB::viprSubChnlFrameSize

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.24.3.1.15

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: The value of this object is the size in octets of the largest frame relay information field for this PVC in the ingress direction (out of the frame relay UNI).

What is viprSubChnlFrameSize?

This OID stores the maximum Frame Relay information field size in bytes (octets) for frames entering this PVC. Network engineers configure frame size to match the carrier's Frame Relay MTU and balance throughput against end-to-end latency. For example, 1600 octets is the standard Frame Relay MTU that comfortably carries standard 1500-byte Ethernet frames.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.24.3.1.15
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::viprSubChnlFrameSize

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.24.3.1.15.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACMIB::viprSubChnlFrameSize.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1751.2.18.24.3.1.15.1 i <value>
